Hi, I’m Özge Şahin. I am an assistant professor in the Applied Probability Group at the Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) since July 2023. I have also been part of the RECENTRE consortium, focusing on developing patient risk profiles to enhance their well-being. My research interests lie at the intersection of statistical machine learning and dependence modeling. I collaborate with field experts, especially in societal applications in finance and healthcare. You can find the list of my publications on Google Scholar.
Before joining TU Delft, I completed my doctoral studies in Applied Mathematical Statistics at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). Before my doctoral studies, I obtained my master’s degree in Mathematics in Operations Research at TUM and my bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering at Boğaziçi University.
